Queen Elizabeth Will Offer Cruises From Oz.

Cunard’s  Queen Elizabeth will spend two months offering seven departures from Sydney and Melbourne. It will be the first time Cunard have based a ship in Australia, and the longest duration that a Cunard ship has visited the region.

The ship will offer two cruises to New Zealand, three sailings to Tasmania, and two cruises to South Australia, that will also be part of Queen Elizabeth’s 2019 world cruise.

The ship will arrive in Australia on February 4, 2019, as part of a 16-night segment from Cape Town to Fremantle. A six-night cruise will depart later that day from Fremantle to Melbourne, visiting Busselton, and Adelaide.

A seven-night cruise will then depart Melbourne on February 10, and visits Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, and Hobart.

Queen Elizabeth will then offer a short three-night cruise from Melbourne to Sydney on February 17, with a visit to Burnie, Tasmania.

The ship will also offer a 14-night cruise to New Zealand on February 20, with visits to Fiordland, Christchurch, Akaroa, Wellington, Auckland, and Bay of Islands.

Departing Sydney on March 4, 2019, Queen Elizabeth will sail on a five-night cruise to Hobart and Port Arthur.

On March 9, the ship will offer another three-night cruise. This time from Sydney to Melbourne, with a stop off in Burnie.

From Melbourne, Queen Elizabeth will offer a six-night cruise that includes an overnight in Hobart, and a visit to Port Arthur.

Queen Elizabeth will then sail a twelve-night cruise to New Zealand on March 18, calling at Picton, Marlborough Sound, an overnight in Wellington, Akaroa, Christchurch, and Fiordland.

The ship will then continue on its world cruise, departing Melbourne on a 20-night segment to Yokohama, Japan. The itinerary also includes visits to Sydney and Brisbane.

The cruises are set to go on sale from March 30, 2017.
